Who Am I
I’ve never been very good at following the script.
Canadian by birth. Based in Mexico City by choice. My husband Antonio and I left Canada with four suitcases and built a life that was actually ours.
I’ve built businesses. Closed businesses. Made money. Lost money. Started over. Built recurring revenue. Walked away from work for a year. Learned a hell of a lot on the way.
Money isn’t just about wealth. It’s about choice. The more options you have, the less trapped you are.

Because money gives us options.
My mother left nursing and became financially dependent on a marriage she couldn’t afford to leave. A woman couldn’t get a credit card in her own name until the 1980s. I don’t accept that as the script for the next one.
Women don’t need money to be worth something. We were born worthy.
