GoHighLevel Pricing 2026: What It Actually Costs

October 14, 2026•15 min read

GoHighLevel costs $97 a month.

$97 a month. I know what you’re thinking. There’s a hidden fee somewhere. Or it’s a teaser price that jumps after year one. Or the good stuff is locked behind an upgrade.

Well, I’m here to tell you: none of the above.

It’s been $97 a month since I started six years ago.

I've never had the surprise on a Monday morning... the email telling me my plan was doubling. I've never worried they'd rip out the platform I built my business on and make me start over.

If you know, you know.

I know what my bill is going to be next month. $97.

This is very comforting as a business owner to know that Go High Level is always going to be there and Go High Level is not going to increase its price.

The owners have promised us over and over and over and over and over again.

So, how does GoHighLevel make money? Well, GoHighLevel makes money on the fraction of a penny for the email, for the SMS, etc., so their price plans never have to go up.

Question for you: Can you feel that confident in the software your business is standing on?

If not sure, keep reading...

I'm going to break it all down for you. No surprises, no hiding anything.

I'm going to tell you how I think you should start in GoHighLevel and what plan you should be on.

And then the part most pricing posts skip: what it's costing you NOT to be on it.

Rather watch than read? I walk you through what you actually pay right here:

How Much Does GoHighLevel Cost?

There are three plans.

You will only see two on the GoHighLevel homepage, and that's because you need to start and then upgrade when you're ready.

The part that's the sexiest is the part that 99% of other software gets you on, and that is contacts and/or team members/users.

Does the price really need to double to add my VA?

The 3 Price Plan Breakdown

Agency Pro

$497

$4,970

SaaS Mode: the SaaS configurator, rebilling, client self sign-up, white-label, and ability to upcharge

Anyone building a SaaS business

The $97 plan gives you three sub-accounts. That means you and two friends can get together and build three businesses with this thing. For $97. It's very sexy.

One thing before you do: whoever owns the account owns the billing and controls the sub-accounts. Sort that out at the start, while you all still like each other.

The $297 plan is unlimited. Unlimited sub-accounts, under your brand. This is the agency plan.

The $497 plan is where the SaaS configurator lives, and that's the biggest piece that's different. You're automating a SaaS business. A client signs up, picks a plan, pays, and their account builds itself. You can rebill their email and text usage with your markup on top.

  • Private Integrations. Connect Go High Level to just about any software you want, including Claude or any other AI.

  • Marketplace Apps. Add-ons other companies build for it.

Plus more.

And a project management tool is coming. I'm expecting to hear about it at the Level Up event. My guess is it'll look more like Trello than ClickUp.

The part almost nobody understands is the power of the custom fields, custom values and custom objects. They're what let you make Go High Level do just about anything you want it to do. Put private integrations on top of that, and you can make it do almost anything.

And the platform keeps growing. They ship new features every single week. I know, because I read every one of them for The GHL Brief. You don't pay more when they add something. It just shows up in your account.

What Will You Pay On Top Of The Plan?

This is where people get confused, so stay with me.

You don't pay per contact. Ever. Your list can grow from 500 people to 50,000 people, and your plan price does not move.

What goes up is volume. Send more email, send more texts, and you pay more, because you're using more.

That's it.

Usage comes out of a prepaid wallet in your account, and you can see every charge.

Usage

Cost

Email sending

$0.675 per 1,000 emails

Email verification

$2.50 per 1,000 verifications

Email forwarding

$0.675 per 1,000 (same as sending)

Local phone number

$1.15 a month

Toll-free number

$2.15 a month

Texts, US and Canada

$0.00747 per segment, plus carrier fees

A2P brand registration (one-time)

$4.41 (sole proprietor or low volume) or $48.51 (standard)

A2P campaign registration (one-time)

$16.54

A2P campaign fee

$1.50 to $10 a month, depending on use case

AI Employee

$50 or $97 a month per sub-account, or pay per use

A2P is the one people misunderstand. If you text US phone numbers, the carriers require you to register your business and what you're texting about. Those fees go to the carriers and the registry, not to Go High Level, and every texting platform has to charge them. Budget for it. You can't skip it.

AI comes two ways.

Pay per use, or the AI Employee bundle per sub-account: $50 a month for Growth (1,000 conversation replies and 100 voice minutes) or $97 a month for Unlimited.

My advice? Start with pay-per-use so you can get a feel for what it's going to cost you.

Have the usage fees gone up? By a fraction of a penny. The carriers raised their per-text fees (T-Mobile went from $0.003 to $0.0045 a text in January 2026), and some international routes went up in May 2026. Go High Level passes those carrier fees straight through to you. Their fraction of a penny comes from their own usage pricing, not the carriers.

And here's the part nobody talks about: in October 2025, they removed the 5% processing markup they used to add on phone charges. That part of my bill went DOWN.

So what does a real month look like? Here's a light one for a single business:

What You Use

Cost

Starter Plan

$97.00

10,000 emails

$6.75

500 texts, with carrier fees

about $6.00

One local number

$1.15

A2P campaign fee

$1.50 to $10.00

Total

about $112 to $121

Which Go High Level Plan Should You Buy?

Here's how I tell people to buy it.

If you're a service provider, coach, consultant, digital marketer or an affiliate, start at $97. You're using it to run your own business and/or showing people what it does. That's all you need. (If you want to know why I went all in on recurring software, here's how affiliate income actually works.)

If you're an agency and you're not doing SaaS, but you're putting your clients on it, get the $297.

If you're taking the SaaS route, buy the $97. Get a client. Build your snapshot. Then go right to the $497.

Don't sit on the $297 on the way there.

You'll end up pissing around with people on a whole bunch of different price plans, and it gets nightmarish for you. I see it every single time. People end up with spreadsheets. Who's on what price plan?

A difference of $200 is not even worth it. It's one client. For the nightmare it causes when you start to grow? NOPE.

If $97 feels like a lot right now, I totally understand. Here's what you do: sell it first, then jump on. Treat this like a business from day one, and let your first client cover the cost.

You can learn Go High Level before you ever buy a plan, just by studying it. You won't learn as well as you would hands-on, but you'll get a really good feel for the platform before you get in. And if you've used other platforms, that's going to help you a lot.

Why I Can't Believe You're Not On It

Every pricing post stops at the up-front costs. I want to show you the other side of the bill: what it costs you to stay where you are.

If you've been in business for the last four or five years, Go High Level has stayed at $97 that whole time. Look at what everyone else did.

Kajabi raised its Basic plan from $149 to $179 a month (20%) and its Growth plan from $199 to $249 (25%). They cut the contacts on Basic from 10,000 down to 2,500. Existing customers moved to the new prices on January 13, 2026.

ActiveCampaign restructured its plans in 2024 and started moving existing customers over that August, with increases capped at 30%. Plenty of people reported paying 30 to 40% more once they matched the features they already had. And since November 2025, new accounts pay for unsubscribed and bounced contacts too.

ClickFunnels retired the version people built their businesses on and moved everyone to a rebuilt platform. Here's what $97 buys you there today: 10,000 contacts, 2 team members, 1 workspace, 3 courses and 5 custom domains. No built-in texting. No phone. Pass 10,000 contacts, and you're on the $197 plan.

I've never been on Kajabi or ActiveCampaign and had my price jump on me. I've never had to rebuild because a company changed the platform out from under me. I don't have that worry.

You know they're going to do it again; the question is WHEN!

Now add up the stack. Say you're a coach. Here's what it costs to run your business on separate tools, paying month to month:

What You Need

Separate Tool

Monthly

Funnels, courses, community, email, booking

ClickFunnels Launch

$97.00

Texting

SimpleTexting, 500 texts plus a local number

$39.00

Contracts and e-signatures

PandaDoc Starter

$35.00

Social scheduling

Buffer, 3 social channels

$18.00

Connecting it all together

Zapier Professional

$29.99

Total

$218.99

Cross 10,000 contacts and ClickFunnels moves you to $197. Now you're at $318.99 a month, before any of those tools raise their prices again.

The same month on Go High Level is about $112 to $121. And the plan price doesn't care how big your list gets.

If you're an affiliate, you might only need the funnels and email. Fine. But the day your list passes 10,000 contacts, your ClickFunnels bill doubles, and Go High Level is still $97.

But money is the smaller cost. The bigger one is time.

Ten different tools means ten logins and ten bills, and you jumping between tabs all day to find one person. Your lead came in on one tool. She booked on another. She paid on a third. Somebody has to keep all of that talking to each other, and that somebody is you, or a Zap that breaks on a Saturday.

When it's all in one, your data lives in one place. Every form, booking, payment, email and text sits on one contact record. That's your foundation, and you can't build anything real on top of data that's scattered across ten companies. (I go deeper on that in How to Make Money With GoHighLevel.)

So yes, I can't believe you're not on it. What the hell?

FAQs

Does Go High Level Charge Per Contact?

No. Every plan comes with unlimited contacts and unlimited users. You pay more only when you send more email and texts, because that's usage. Your list size never changes your plan price.

How Much Does Go High Level Really Cost Per Month?

$97 plus usage. A light month for one business, with 10,000 emails and 500 texts, runs about $112 to $121. Heavy texting, calling, or AI pushes it higher. Your list size doesn't.

Is There A Free Trial?

Yes. Start through my link, and you get a 30-day free trial on the $97 plan, plus the HL Revenue Room free.

Can I Upgrade Or Change Plans Later?

Yes. You can move up from the $97 plan to the $297 or $497 at any time, and you keep your contacts, funnels and workflows. That's exactly why I tell SaaS builders to start at $97 and jump straight to $497 once they've got a client.

Is Paying Yearly Cheaper?

Yes. Yearly is $970, $2,970 or $4,970, which works out to about two months free on every plan. Pay monthly until you know it's your platform, then switch.

Will Go High Level Raise Its Prices?

I can't promise what any company will do. Bring it up on a call when Shaun Clark, the owner, is on, and he gets worked up about it. He'll say it over and over: “We're not going to raise the price.” I can tell you the plan price hasn't gone up once in all the years I've built on it, and I don't think it ever will. Usage fees follow the carriers, and they've moved by fractions of a penny.
